Perhaps second to our academics emphasis is our fine arts emphasis. Music is a special gift, given to us from the Lord, and we at Indiana Christian Academy seek to train our students to appreciate the best that music has to offer. And music is often well-complemented by dramatic productions and speech. Students on the elementary and secondary levels are encouraged to explore this area and compete in state and national meets. With the proper instruction, both music and drama can be used for the glory of God and the enjoyment of others!
Music Program

In 1996, Mr. Jerry Ascher, a graduate of Bob Jones University, began our school band program and took over the secondary choral program. Under his dedicated, selfless, and patient leadership, the elementary band has often ranked high in competition, and the secondary band has placed first in the state and won second place nationally for many years. His commitment to excellence is unparalleled in our state. He currently directs the elementary band, secondary band, and secondary choir, as well as offers private voice, brass, and woodwind lessons to beginning students. Speech and Drama
The drama program at Indiana Christian Academy exists to edify and instruct others as well as put into practice that which is learned in the classroom. Each December, our elementary students perform an original play and musical program. The students are encouraged to perform in many areas of drama at the state fine arts competition.
Our secondary students, under the direction of Ben Evans, are able to take a class in speech and drama, perform in the spring play, and compete in various categories of speech at the state fine arts competition.
