In the event of ICA being closed because of severe weather and dangerous road conditions or some other emergency, you will be able to obtain information in the following ways:
- Tune in to TV channels 6 (WRTV), 8 (WISH), and 13 (WTHR).
- Tune in to radio station 1240 AM (WHBU).
- Check the weather closing page on WISH TV 8.
- Look for the special banner message at the top of our website’s home page:
- SMS Alerts (Go here to subscribe). Please verify any closings info received via SMS using one of the sources above.
With rare exception the school closing decision is made by 6:00 a.m. and reportedvia these methods. Assume that the Academy will be open unless you see/hear an announcement on one of these news sources.
