The Indiana Blood Center will be coming to the gym at ICA to draw blood on Thursday, May 6. The gym will be opened from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm for your convenience. This is your chance to help the ICA show the community that it cares about them. Please come and give if you are able.
Monday, May 3, was the school wide skating activity for the entire student body. The students seemed to really enjoy themselves as they skated. They played various games on the skating floor. The students seemed to enjoy the snack bar as well, gobbling down pizza and candy, and guzzling Coke and Sprite. Teachers and parents enjoyed watching and participating with the students in various events. Below are a few pictures of the skating event.
Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person like you who makes the choice to donate. There is no substitute for your donation.
On Thursday, May 6, Indiana Christian Academy will be hosting a blood drive. The blood drive will be from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm in our gymnasium. We have hosted most of our drives on a Monday, so we wanted to make sure that everyone is aware that it is on Thursday this time. Make sure to bring a photo ID. We hope to see you there.
This coming Monday, May 3, we will be hosting a skating event for ICA students from 3:30 to 5:30 for the elementary and 4:30 to 6:30 for the secondary. These skating events are an enjoyable time for our students and faculty to mingle and relax at the roller rink. Look forward to this event taking place and come enjoy yourself.
The cost is $5.00 for skate rental and skating. Boys may wear jeans and a t-shirt and girls may wear loose fitting slacks. Parents should pick up their students at the conclusion of their skating time.
It is our pleasure to announce an open house for Indiana Christian Academy called “ICA Try-A-Day” next Monday, April 19 from 8:00 a.m. until noon. The open house will allow prospective parents and students to find out what the school is like. We will offer three tours of the school–one at 8:15 a.m., one at 9 a.m., and one at 11:30 a.m.–for those who would like to view the facilities of the school. Parents and students may come and go as they please that morning, so that they may be able to see what Indiana Christian Academy is all about.

Indiana Christian Academy invites you to celebrate the miraculous and joyous birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ! The Christmas festivities begin next Tuesday, December 15 at 7pm, with the Elementary and Secondary Christmas Concert. Students in grades 1 through 12 will present songs of worship and Christmas cheer in a band, choir, and handbell concert that is sure to fill your heart with the joy of the Christmas season! Mr. Jerry Ascher, director of our award-winning music groups is excited about the quality of music our students are producing this year and is eager for them to share their talent with our ICA family. “It’s going to be a great concert,” he said. Admission is free and all family and friends are welcomed to attend.
The Christmas spirit continues on Thursday morning, December 17 with the Preschool and Kindergarten Christmas Program and Brunch. The children’s program, “A Merry Little Christmas,” will include songs, poems, and Christmas fun presented by our youngest students. “The children are not only adorable to watch, but truly show how much they are learning! It’s going to be a fun and special morning for them and their families!” said Program Coordinator, Miss Sherry DuBois. Following the program will be a delicious brunch, hosted by the Junior and Senior classes. Please contact the school office if you plan to attend (643-7884).
At Indiana Christian Academy, we definitely enjoy this time of year! Delighting in what our Lord did for us by sending His only Son to save us from our sins, and rejoicing in all of the good things God has given us are only samples of the daily worship we should seek to give our Lord—at Christmas and every day! We hope you’ll make plans to worship Him with us, too, this holiday season. Come and celebrate the Christ of Christmas!
