Avast, me hearties! ‘Tis Spirit Week at Indiana Christian Academy! The Blackbeards and the Redbeards will be facin’ off this week, as we all try to boost our school spirit and shove our Whirlwind Team off to victory! We’ll be spendin’ the week dressin’ like pirates, workin’ like pirates, and tearin’ through the competition like pirates! There’ll be treasure huntin’, prizes, and lots of fun–ye don’t want to be missin’ it! Here are the days’ themes fer ye to take fun in…
Monday: Mixed Up Pirates in PJs and Crazy Hair Day–please be wearin’ modest PJs that are mismatched and give us yer craziest hairstyle!
Tuesday: All out fer ICA Day–wear red, white, and blue today! Ye can also purchase spirit face stickers fer only 25 cents from the cheerleaders!
Wednesday: Time Travelin’ Pirate Day–wear gear from the past or future, but remember to stay within the boundaries of the normal dress code!
Thursday: Elegant Pirates Day–dress up like a pirate king or princess–just keep it modest!
Friday: Yer a Pirate Day–put on yer best pirate gear, Redbeards and Blackbeards!
Points will be awarded each day for participation, and the winnin’ team will get an ice cream sundae party and homework passes! Here are teams fer the week:
Grades 1-2, 5-6, 9-10, and 12 are Blackbeards; Grades PK, K5, 3-4, 7-8, and 11 are Redbeards
