This is a very big week at Indiana Christian Academy . . . Homecoming! The student body looks forward to a variety of events such as: the all school carnival, high school bonfire, coronation events, and homecoming games.
The carnival is a wonderful time for elementary students as the 7th through 12th grades sponsor the event. Some of the events to look forward to are: the Car Bash, Dunk Tank, Maze, Face Painting, Soccer Shoot-out, and much more. Not only will there be carnival activities, but also carnival food! Things like cotton candy, hot dogs, and elephant ears only scratch the surface of the options available. Students are looking forward to a great time this Thursday!
After a hard days work, the Jr. High and High School get a chance to relax and have some fun too! Thursday night is our traditional Harvest Home Bonfire. Activities, food, testimonies, and a challenge from God’s Word highlight the evening events.
On Friday afternoon, ICA has its Coronation - the crowning of the King and Queen of the Homecoming! This celebration is designed to honor the students that have set forth a good example and testimony of faithfulness to God. It is an honor to be a member of the Homecoming Court and we thank the Lord for the wonderful God-fearing students that He has given to us.
Later that afternoon, we kick off the evening with volleyball against the NE Lady Tigers - a Junior High volleyball contest at 6:00 pm and a Varsity match at 7:00 pm. Also at 5:30 pm, the soccer team takes on the Homeschool Strikers. Smoked pork tenderloin sandwiches will be sold at the games. Come join us this night for great games and great food.
