Each year, our school sponsors a blood drive for the Anderson area. Through our blood donations, we are able to help local people in times of need. It is such a privilege to give of ourselves in this way to benefit our community.
The benefits do not stop there. Our school is part of a state competition for cash. This cash prize is awarded based upon the amount donated per senior in the senior class. Being a smaller school, we must rally our troops for the benefit of our school and those whose lives are at stake.
Winning these funds has benefited our school in so many ways. This year we were able to purchase new chemistry and physics lab equipment for our science department. We were also able to purchase some new computers for our computer lab. So you can see how your participation helps ICA continue to provide an excellent education for our students.
Can we count on you and your family to give? Our blood drive is scheduled for next Monday, March 7th from 1:30pm to 6:00pm. Let’s make this the biggest blood drive that our school has had.
