On Friday, the school elementary visited the Indianapolis Zoo and had a marvelous time. Many parents and grandparents joined us on the trip as chaperones and were able to enjoy a fabulous day with their student. The Lord blessed by allowing it only to sprinkle a little that day. Students were also able to see the dolphin show while they were there.
Here are a few comments from some of the students as they answered the question, “What did you like best at the zoo?”
Conner H. - Probably the dolphin show. I
also got this cool venus fly-trap plant.
Amy H. - I liked the dolphin show and the polar bear. I also enjoyed seeing the African Lion.
Dalton R. - We got to pet sharks! I also liked the dolphin show.
Mason U. - I liked the Walruses and the dolphin show.
Josh R. - I got to spend time with friends on the trip. I liked the desert place in the zoo because there were birds coming in from a door and they got trapped. It was neat to watch them try to get out. They also had a desert aquarium with all kinds of venomous and non-venemous snakes.
Destiny G. - I liked being with our chaperone Mrs. Dettra and seeing all the animals. I also enjoyed going to the gift shop and spending t
ime with my friends.
